The bungalows themselves have a natural theme: teak wood is dominant throughout, making the floors in particular attractively smooth and warm. They are all fairly spacious, with wooden platforms for the beds, cushions for lounging and basic furniture. The soft furnishings are tasteful and made from natural fibres. An unusual feature of the bungalows are the open-air bathrooms. There is a gap of around 40cm between the top of the walls and the roof, allowing the air to circulate and plants to grow inside the bathroom space.
All the bungalows offer air con, hot water shower, fridge with complimentary drinking water and TV with satellite channels. The older cabins are slightly larger than the newly built ones, but are more 'rustic', i.e. feature more wood in the design, including the outdoor terrace and bathroom walls. The newer bungalows are more 'closed' and airtight and feature vaulted ceilings and a tiled bathroom (though still open-air). Although Blue Village sells these rooms at the same price, we have distinguished them by 'modern' and 'rustic' and you can choose the style which you prefer. A third matress can be placed in any of the rooms to make a triple bungalow with three singles or one double and one single bed.
