Islanda Village Resort is an innovative new destination, perched on the beach of its own island overlooking the gentle waters of the Andaman Sea. It is ideal for get-away-from-it-all vacations, a quiet island suitable for lazing in the sun and doing very little. Yet it is close to land – it takes just 10 minutes by resort speedboat from Krabi town.     The Islanda Village Resort has 30 very comfortable bungalows built on stilts and facing the sea, each containing a master bedroom, living room, private bathroom plus a large veranda to watch the waves gently washing the beach and enjoy the marvelous sunsets. We encourage guests to chill out. There are plenty of places to close your eyes and simply relax: a large stretch of deserted beach, the comfortable sun loungers next to the swimming pool, or the pleasurable experience of a soothing massage in the Spa. There’s even a space under each bungalow fitted with hammocks for a restful time-out away from the sun. And when the sun goes down, there’s great seafood to be eaten in our five-star restaurant, cool drinks and music in the Beach Bar, or movies and music to choose at the resort library for playing on the in-room entertainment system. Or guests can relax some more, stroll along the moonlit beach, and be pleased to escape from the stress of the modern-day world.

The unspoiled and culturally rich island is perfect location for 29 beachfront bungalows, with coconut groves behind and endless sandy beach in front, just perfect for ideal retreat and hideaway. Despite the peaceful surrounding, Islanda Village Resort is not isolate from Krabi town, only 15 minutes from Krabi landmark, Khao Kanab Nam, along Krabi River or 20 minutes from Krabi International Airport. How to get here : By Air Direct Flight from BKK Several direct flights; operate either by Thai Airways or other low-cost airlines, depart daily from Bangkok to Krabi International Airport. Flying time is about 1.20 hrs. Arriving at the Airport you can take hotel transfer service to our jetty which is only about 10 minutes away, and the Islanda Village Resort is just at your nose-tip away. Direct Flight from Singapore Direct flight by Tiger Airways departs daily from Singapore at 18:05 and departs Krabi to Singapore at 19:20. Chartered Flight Chartered flights from Hong Kong and Scandinavian are also available. By Train Guest can take train which departs daily from Hua Lampong Railway Station, Bangkok, to Trang province Railway Station (130 km. from Krabi), Phunpin Railway Station in Surat Thani province (160 km. from Krabi) or Toong Song Railway Station in Nakorn Sri Thammart province (150 km. from Krabi). After arrival, guests can then take local buses or taxi to Maritime Park and Spa Resort which usually take approximately 2-3 hours. By Car or Bus Different types of regular or air-conditioned buses depart Bangkok Southern Bus Terminal daily. The trip usually takes approximately 13 hours and costs between 500 - 800 Baht per person per way, depending on bus category. For those driving from Bangkok to Krabi, take Highway No. 4 to Chumphon province, then change to Highway No. 41 which passes through Surat Thani province. Then, drive onto Highway No. 4035 until you reach Au Luek District and turn to No. 4 again. The total distance is 814 km.

Inspired by rich culture of Southern fisherman villages, every bungalow is built on stilts, facing the sea with private spacious verandah that offers spectacular beachfront view, overlooked nearby islands of Andaman Sea. There are three types of accommodation to choose from as follows: Ocean Front Bungalow : 5 rooms, 67 sq.m. Ocean View Bungalow : 8 rooms, 64 sq.m. Ocean Breeze Bungalow : 16 rooms, 64 sq.m.   Each bungalow boasts approximately 60 square meters in total, including private verandah with outdoor bathtub (only in Ocean Front Bungalow), master bedroom, private bathroom (both indoor and outdoor) and multi-purpose room which can be functioned as living, dining or sleeping area.
